Child-Adolescent Psychiatrist

Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Specialist in Psychiatry via Mir since 2002. Since 2006 she has been working as a doctor, teacher and researcher at the Psychiatry Service of the Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebrón. For years she has specialized in the diagnosis, treatment and research of ADHD. She teaches in the Postgraduate Course “Expert in ADHD, Learning Disorders and Behavior Disorders”. She has participated as a teacher in various theoretical-practical courses of continuing education on ADHD.

She is a specialist on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. She is the coordinator of the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Program with experience in its detection and treatment on more than 300 cases. She has collaborated with the Departament de Salut de la Generalitat (Subdirección general de Drogodependencias) and the Institut Catalá de l´Acolliment i de l´Adopció in the first study of the prevalence in our country of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome in internationally adopted population.

She has participated as co-author in numerous international articles as well as in scientific communications in congresses.

She is an associate clinical professor at the Universidad Autónoma of Barcelona and member of the Cibersam (Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red de Salud Mental).
